However, one man named David was in for a surprise when Scrappy, his beloved black cat, began developing white patches among his dark coat at the age of seven. This unique phenomenon is likely a result of vitiligo, a rare skin condition that causes marbling in feline fur. Despite the diagnosis, Scrappy is a happy and healthy 19-year-old cat who still picks fights with other neighborhood cats.
