- 4 large egg whites

– 1/3 cup sugar

- 1 cup icing sugar (powdered sugar)

- 1 cup almond powder

- 2g salt

- Food coloring of your choice

How to make Macarons 

The ingredients are macarons

- Preheat oven to 150 degrees Celsius

- Use a mixer to beat the sugar and eggs until stiff until the bowl slopes down but the eggs do not melt, then beat for another 1-2 minutes, then add food coloring and beat for about 20 seconds.

- Sift almond flour, icing sugar, salt 2 times until smooth and then mix with the beaten egg. Use a spatula to mix the mixture about 30-50 times. Your mixture must be very smooth and not mushy to meet the requirements! If you beat too hard, your macaron will fall flat and if you don't beat enough, the surface of the macaron will not be smooth!

Using an ice cream bag, divide the dough into small circles on a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper.

– Bake the cake for about 15-20 minutes and then leave the cake out for about 10 minutes until completely cool, then spread the filling for the macaron!

Wait for the cake to cool, then spread your favorite cream or jam on the cake!
