Kem's Struggle for Survival: Left with Two Swollen Eyes, Enduring Pain and Misery

Kem's Struggle for Survival: Left with Two Swollen Eyes, Enduring Pain and Misery

It was a devastating sight to see. On April 1st, we received an urgent request on our VK group about an abandoned dog in a box with two swollen eyes, nearly blind and crying for help. When we arrived, we found Kem, a little boy in pain, scratching his eyes down.

Without hesitation, we rushed him to the vet. The first night was critical, and Kem needed a transfusion to help him sleep. But the next morning, he showed signs of improvement and started eating again. Although he couldn’t eat much at first, he eventually began to eat well.

However, the news wasn’t all good. Kem needed surgery to remove his eyes, and he would be blind forever. But despite his blindness, Kem remained positive and kind. He fought hard and continued to show signs of improvement.

After two days, Kem’s condition improved a little, but he was still weak. His blood sugar levels were unstable, and he needed daily support. But we named him Kem, and we had hope that he would make it through.

After a week of fighting, Kem finished his bowl and was on the road to recovery. But we knew that he still had a long way to go. We promised to do our best and fight with him until the end.

Kem’s story is a reminder of the resilience and strength of animals, even in the face of cruelty and abandonment. It also highlights the importance of rescue organizations and the critical role they play in giving abandoned animals a second chance at life.

We are grateful to be a part of Kem’s journey, and we know that he will continue to inspire us all with his unwavering spirit and determination.
